Car Accidents

Kuwait isnt exactly the best place to drive especially for begginers. ive seen many crazy things happen and many crazy ppl driving. most of the people that dont drive that safe are the Kuwaitis and the Indians but the Indians mostly do it cause there lost somewhere out there. some of the common things that people do are:
- turning infront of your car while u are going at a high speed and they are going at a low speed.
- turning into a street without looking.
- turning into the next lane without looking and your right next to him.
these are just a few common things you see here. hearing that there are 45,800 car accidents a year is just crazy. that equals up to 125 accidents a day and that just scares me because alot of them are severe acidents. another thing that scares me is the amount of people that die on the highway each year which were 398 and anyone i know or i could be one of those 398 an di think that the amount of accidents is increasing. a few years ago the amount of accidents a day were about 56 and now it has increased to abotut 125.

Say your not as dumb as you look

Hmmmmm... ive heard this quote before but im not sure if its originally from this actor. he probably said this is one of his cowboy movies. for someone not to be as dumb as they look would be hard because you would have look really dumb for certain people. a good example that i could think of is if someone that is far but within ur sight waves at your direction and you wave back thinking its for you, when it turns out it is to the persons friend behind you makes you really look bad O_O. this happened infront of m a couple of times but thankfully never to me. once it happened to my brother in class but instead of being far the person was close and said hi to a friend when he replied hi. . . i then told him that the hi wasnt for him and he got very embarassed and i made fun of him for that for a while. i cant think of any other times this happened but im sure that it did. actually, it might have happened to me before but i dont remember it happening. another example is when you think you heard someone sitting behind you call you but they really didnt and you turn around asking them what they want and that is really embarasign because you usually know the person sitting next to you.

Summer

since during our spring break, there were bombing in Lebanon where my friends and i were supposed to goto. we ended up not going for safety reasons and we postponed it to this summer. the plan is on the 8th of june we goto lebanon for aabout a week and enjoy our selves. When im back from Lebanon i will goto Sharm Al Sheikh for another week with my family who say it will be fun but i doubt it because every trip isnt fun with them. When im done with Sharm, ill be coming back to kuwait and enjoying it here for a while most likely until i leave for college. My mom wants me to goto Australia with her but i highly doubt that i would go since she is going for a month and i would rather stay here with my brother alone and hanging out with my friends until i leave. If i do go, i would most likely go for a maximum of two weeks and fly back to Kuwait alone. when i leave to college, i will be busy gettign all my things together which is buying what i need such as a car, fridge, laptop, etc. . . My dad might be coming with us to help me get settled in but i'de rather that he didnt come because i already have my brother to help me out and i know a couple of friends there that could also help me out. Also because he will be coming for a week only and i dont think that it is worth the trip.

Group Work

when you are placed in a group and everyone is assigned a peice of work, you are expected to finish your work on time and do a good job on it. My worst experience in a group would be in 9th grade when i had a history project and i had a group of four. at the begining everyone came up with good ideas and participated but when it came time to hand in the final project no one had brought in anyting other then me. we ended up having a extension to hand in the project but our grade was reduced by 5%. i would say my best experience was in 10t grade when i had a Geometry project and we had to draw some pictures with different kinds of dimensions and shapes and i was with two other people. One of them was a briliant student whom i didnt have to worry about, and the other is my brother who i had to push to do his part of the project. we ended up doing everything perfect and even doing the extra credit. when it came time to recieve our grades, we had the highest score in the class and i couldnt be happier. Group work is good in many ways because when your with a group you get more ideas and it pushs you to work harder to impress our group mates. when you work alone, you only have your ideas and dont have anyone to push you to work harder.

Random Blog

Im very happy today and have been happy this week because of a number of things. first of all there isnt much left until i graduate which is just about two weeks and i just cant wait. another thing is that my brother is flying in from the US and arrive in kuwait friday night which i also cant wait for. i wont be coming to school on saturday which allows me to stay with him that day and catch up on things we both missed. Im also happy because today is wedensday which is the last day of the week. two things i really dont look forward to is making my Senior Memory Book and a Speech that i will have to do in english of a fourty page poem O_O that i dont understand a word of, the poem is called "Song of Myself". i also cant wait until next week because it is going to be a really short week for different reasons and i will be out all the time because my brother is here. Im looking forward to this summer because i will be going to different places and i think it will be fun. after graduation i will be going with my friends to Lebanon which will be fun and after i get back to Kuwait i will go to Sharm alsheikh with my family which doesnt seem as fun since my parents like to tour around and do other boring things like going to the pyramids, snorkling, walking around, etc. . . after i get back from Sharm i wont be traveling until either August the 12th or the 13th to College and my dad will be coming with me to help me out with signing, buying accessories, buying a car and such. Leaving my parents behind and starting a new life next year will truely be a emotional time for me which i will overcome but im not sre if my parents will overcome it.

Goodbye

to me there are two different ways to say goodbye. one way is when you say goodbye but you know you are going to see them the next day, the other way to say goodbye is when you say it and you know you wont see them the next day or even ever again. everyday i say goodbye to my friends and family but i say it normally and just say it no hugs or a handshake or anything just words, thats because i know im going to see them again unless something unexpected happens and i die or go into a coma. this year, im going to be saying alot of goodbyes especially after the countdown when alot of people are crying or even worst after graduation when i know i wont see most of my friends again but i made plans with alot to meet during our college days. i hope the day never comes so i wont have to say goodbye.
